Once you start adding weight, towing, or pushing a 79 Series harder off-road, the factory braking system becomes a limitation. This TT Extreme Big Brake Kit is designed to solve that, delivering a substantial increase in stopping power, control, and consistency.

At the centre of the system are large 6-piston forged aluminium calipers, applying even clamping force across a significantly larger rotor surface area. Combined with oversized slotted and dimpled rotors, the kit increases swept area by up to 40 percent compared to factory, improving heat dissipation and reducing brake fade under sustained use.

The result is stronger, more consistent braking whether you’re descending long grades, towing, or carrying a full touring load. Pedal feel is also improved through the inclusion of stainless steel braided brake lines, reducing flex and maintaining pressure under heavy braking.

This is a complete, engineered system, including matched calipers, rotors, pads, and mounting hardware, designed to work together as a package rather than relying on mixed components. ADR-approved and tested, it’s built for real-world use where reliability matters just as much as performance.
