Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series Suspension Upgrade Kit – Terrain Tamer

The 60 Series Land Cruiser is a proper old-school platform, but the factory suspension struggles once you start loading it up or pushing it off-road. This Terrain Tamer suspension kit is designed to modernise the way it drives, without losing what makes the 60 so capable.

Built around a full leaf spring system, the kit replaces worn factory components with matched springs and shock absorbers, improving ride height, stability, and control. Typical setups provide around a 40–50mm lift, helping clear larger tyres while maintaining usable geometry.

The twin-tube shock absorbers use multi-stage valving to better manage corrugations, highway driving, and uneven terrain, delivering a more controlled and predictable ride across New Zealand conditions.

Unlike piecing together individual components, this is a complete system. Everything is matched to work together, improving durability, ride quality, and load handling whether the vehicle is used for touring, work, or weekend trips.
