The factory exhaust on the VDJ200 Land Cruiser is built for compliance and noise control, not performance. This Terrain Tamer high-flow DPF-back system is designed to improve airflow from the rear of the DPF, reducing restriction and helping the 4.5-litre V8 breathe more efficiently.

Constructed from 409 stainless steel, the system is designed for durability in real-world 4WD conditions, handling heat cycles, corrosion, and off-road use without compromise. The larger diameter pipework and smoother flow path reduce backpressure, allowing the engine to operate more efficiently under load.

The result is improved throttle response, better torque delivery, and reduced exhaust gas temperatures, particularly noticeable when towing or climbing long grades. Because it retains the factory DPF, this remains a compliant upgrade while still delivering measurable gains in drivability.

This is a practical upgrade for touring builds, towing setups, and daily-driven 200 Series vehicles that need improved efficiency without stepping into full turbo-back systems.
