Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Last updated: June 2026

At Land Cruiser Hub, we stand behind the products we sell and work closely with our suppliers and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues fairly and efficiently.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by Land Cruiser Hub are covered by manufacturer warranties.

Warranty periods and conditions vary between brands and products.

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, claims will be assessed in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Claims

If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

To assist with your claim, we may request:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the installation
  • Details of the fault
  • Vehicle information
  • Supporting information requested by the manufacturer or supplier

Products may need to be inspected by the manufacturer, supplier, or an authorised repairer before a warranty decision can be made.

Warranty Assessment

Not all faults are immediately considered warranty issues.

In some cases, products may need to be returned for inspection and testing before a claim can be approved.

Warranty claims cannot be approved until this assessment process has been completed.

What Is Covered

Warranty coverage generally applies to defects in:

  • Materials
  • Manufacturing
  • Workmanship

under normal operating conditions and when the product has been installed and used correctly.

What Is Not Covered

Warranty claims may be declined where damage or failure has resulted from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Incorrect fitment
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Accidents or impacts
  • Corrosion
  • Competition use
  • Commercial use beyond product specifications
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Modifications to the product
  • Use outside the manufacturer's intended application
  • Normal wear and tear

Labour Costs

Land Cruiser Hub does not cover:

  • Labour charges
  • Workshop costs
  • Vehicle recovery expenses
  • Towing costs
  • Accommodation expenses
  • Loss of use
  • Loss of income
  • Consequential losses

unless required by New Zealand law.

Warranty coverage applies to the product itself unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

Incorrectly Ordered Products

Products that are incorrectly ordered or incorrectly fitted are not considered warranty claims.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before ordering and we'll do our best to help verify compatibility.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Where products are supplied to consumers, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply.

If a product fails to meet the guarantees required under New Zealand law, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy which may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

depending on the nature of the issue.
